Executive Director
Jennifer joined the Oasis family as Executive Director in February 2015 and has worked in the non-profit sector for 35 years.
Jennifer has been a member of the Oasis Board of Directors since 2004, having served as President of the Board for four years prior to joining the staff. Jennifer believes deeply in the mission of Oasis and in the power of its programs to change the lives of women and children. “Oasis is a very special place, one where you can see first-hand how you can affect the lives of the poor among us. You only need to walk through the halls of Oasis to feel hope and change at work in Paterson.” Her knowledge of Oasis programs and services and expertise in fundraising has set the stage for tremendous growth at Oasis. Today, Oasis serves over 1,000 women and children daily, helping the most vulnerable members of our community rise out of poverty.
Prior to Oasis, Jennifer served as the Director of Fund Development at Help from People to People, Rockland County, NY, where she doubled fundraising revenue to help ensure that thousands of food-insecure families could put food on their tables. She was an integral member of the capital development team at the Museum of Television and Radio, which raised $50 million for a new building. She was also a founding staff member of the Hudson Valley Children’s Museum where she worked for seven years.
Jennifer is a graduate of Douglass College, Rutgers University and attended the Polytechnic of Central London.Â
